PROJECT MANAGEMENT The discipline devoted to planning, organizing and coordinating resources to successfully achieve the objectives of a project (a short-term endeavor to achieve specific objectives). Planning Establishing the scope of a project, refining the objectives, and defining the course of action required to attain the objectives that a project is undertaken to achieve. Time management Planning and controlling the schedule required to complete the project within an approved timeframe. Estimate task resources A process resulting in a/n Task resource estimate - an approximation of the type and quantity of resources required to perform an activity, i.e., people, equipment and supplies, based on the requirements of that activity.
